About the Event


The Pleasant Hill Blues & Brews Festival is the largest (and dare we say, the most awesome?) free summer event in the Pleasant Hill community. The Pleasant Hill Recreation & Park District staff are the fun-loving peeps who throw the epic party in Pleasant Hill Park each year, led by our fearless Event Coordinator, Liz Harrison. Pleasant Hill Recreation and Park District (PH Rec & Park)

PH Rec & Park is a Special District, an independent government agency separate from the City of Pleasant Hill and other government agencies. Established in 1951, the District is one of the founding agencies in the community. Pleasant Hill Rec & Park owns and manages our beautiful local parks, facilities, and open space areas and offers extensive recreation programs, important services, and events throughout Pleasant Hill. We host over 12 community special events each year, bringing people together to connect, have fun, and enjoy positive recreation experiences that improve quality of life!
